This event is governed by the Professional
Windsurfers Association (PWA) Rulebook and is sanctioned by the PWA as a world cup
status event as part of the 2016 PWA World Tour.

Competition
Details
The competition is
a Slalom World Cup that will take place in Noerregade 2b, 6960 Hvide Sande from the 4th
September to the 9th September 2016.
IMPORTANT – COMPETITION MAY START ON THE 4th
September.
Registration will take place between 10.00 and
11.00 on the 4th September at the event site office.
Equipment Registration will take place between
10.00 and 11.00 on the 4th September at the event site office. – ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE REGISTERED
DURING THIS TIME
The first skippers meeting will be at 13.30 on the
4th September with the first possible start at 14.30
The discipline will be Slalom with a maximum of 15
rounds.
The final day of competition will be 9th
September.
Advertising
According to PWA Rules, competitors will be
required to carry sail stickers and wear advertising vests. All other
advertising on sails and boards will be according to PWA Advertising Rules.
Transport
Transport for you and
your equipment will be available from Billund Airport.
Pick up will be available on the 2nd and
3rd of September and drop off will be available on the 10th
and 11th September.
Please send your flight details to Katrine K Frandsen, katrine@feriepartner.dk,
by the 15th August, or you will not receive free transport.
IMPORTANT - When
sending arrival and departure information, sailors must supply all information
listed below. It is especially important that you inform us of how many bags
you will be bringing and subsequently departing with and what size they are.

Accommodation
There will be free accommodation
for the top 16 men and top 4 women from the 2015 Slalom rankings.

Water temperature around 15°
Air temperature during the day average of 15°,
during the night around 10° Wind speed: average between 10-30 knots.

Sail Numbers
All sailors will be required to carry clearly
legible sail numbers. These will be required for all disciplines and should be
of a type such as those specified in the PWA Rulebook. Hand drawn numbers or
numbers made of tape or stickers shall not be permitted. Sailors without suitable sail numbers may not be permitted to
compete.
Sailors should be aware that they will be promoting
the sport under public scrutiny. Any sail numbers, branding or other publicly
viewable items or equipment, considered to be detrimental to the sport, the
event or the PWA shall not be allowed. Suitability of such items shall be at
the discretion of the PWA. Let’s make sure it looks good for the crowd and
media.
Membership
Fees
All sailors will be required to pay membership fees
as specified below.
Fees can be paid online up to 72 hours in advance through the PayPal
link below. After the 72 hour deadline fees must be paid in cash at
registration but will be subject to a $15 surcharge.
Trialists Local Wildcards and any other sailors awarded entry after the deadline
will be exempt from the $15 surcharge.
Late payment will be charged at a rate of €20 per day.

Please note, that sailors must
still attend the official registration on site – failure to attend the official
event registration may result in disqualification and a fine.
All online
payments include an additional 2.9% transaction fee which is in accordance with
PayPal’s transaction costs.
ANY PAYMENTS MADE ONLINE LESS THAN
72 HOURS BEFORE REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AND CASH WILL BE DUE AT
REGISTRATION.
A 3% PWA
Membership tax deduction applies to all prize money, as part of the standard
membership fee structure.
